Step up to writing and new reading with my how to books and eBooks.
Though my novels The Ka, River Bones and Down to the Needle, were produced through a publishing house in book paper and eBook, my first self-published eBook is a nonfiction: Write it Right - Tips for Authors, Vol. I.
My first novel, The Tropics, went out of print. I have completely rewritten and expanded it. The new version is titled Legacy of the Tropics. Though they won’t show on the cover as with the original version, the three story titles are Promises, Adrift and Reunion.
The first volume of my zany short stories and flash fiction is published, titles Off Center in the Attic - Over the Top Stories.
The two sequels to my award winning thriller, River Bones, will appear first in eBook.
The Howling Cliffs, the 1st sequel to River Bones, a thriller, is published. See it below.

The Howling Cliffs
A Sara Mason Mystery
The Logline: After searching for and finding MIA remains in Vietnam, Sara nearly loses her life when she investigates a missing child case in Hawaii. Someone means to keep the cold case cold.
In River Bones, the original Sara Mason mystery, her love interest, Huxley Keane, searches for his MIA brother in Vietnam. He also searches for Esmerelda's daughter as well as the rest of the abducted medical personnel.
As we follow these two characters, and a couple of others from River Bones, The Howling Cliffs begins deep in the Vietnam jungle. But Sara Mason solves cold cases and finds another one to investigate on the island of Kauai. She has purchased a home in Hawaii for traveling veterans to use as a stop over between the mainland USA and Vietnam. Inadvertently, Sara's neighbor tells her about the cold case of a 6-year-old girl missing for 10 years. Sara's investigation explodes the case wide open and exposes an elusive murderer’s motives, revenge and victims.
You may wish to read about the characters in The Howling Cliffs and what is needed to carry them forward into a new story after River Bones.

in the Attic
Over the Top Stories
A collection of 30 of my flash fiction and short stories.
Humor and nonsense, flights of fantasy into other realms, fright, disgust and disappointment, silliness and wonderment, and the sadness of reality and heartache. It’s all here and more in stories that may leave you a little Off Center in the Attic, conjured through a mind that may be a little Off Center in the Attic.
You may wish to read the 30 story titles and brief descriptions on the Off Center in the Attic page.
A Tip: If you're a writer wishing to be published, or already have a lot of stories you'd like to see in a collection, study how eBooks are written and put together, then step up to writing and publishing your own exciting collections. You can do it!
Off Center is available on these pages:Amazon.com
Great News! Both of the first two eBooks I formatted and published on my own - Legacy of the Tropics and Write it Right - Tips for Authors, Volume I, were nominated for inclusion in Dan Poynter's Global eBook Awards competition. How incredible! They didn't place but not all books get accepted. I'll be entering each year that I have a new ebook.
Write It Right
Tips for Authors
Volume I, 2nd Edition
Read the entire Table of Contents and the first reviews.
This eBook can help you become proficient at descriptive writing and with book writing format, the latter referring not only to the components of your book as a whole product, but how to write the story as well.
This first eBook contains articles that will become as useful as any creative writing prompts. Writers already using this eBook say the writing prompts for improving descriptive writing are tops, but the total information for book writing formats is the gem they needed to find when their writing stalled.
Step up to writing improvements and polishing your prose. Read the entire Table of Contents for Write it Right - Tips for Authors, Volume I. As a writer, we all face the problems written about. I hope these help you immensely.

My first novel, The Tropics is out of print. I have taken the opportunity to rewrite the entire book. The Tropics received all 5-star reviews, but now it's so much more exciting, expanded with more drama and a dramatic heightened ending.
This is the new book:
Legacy of the Tropics
Our local newspaper editing described the stories as...
"Stories that shatter the myths of stereotypical islands of paradise."
Stories of survival hidden behind the facade of swaying palm trees and balmy trade winds.
Read about the changes and see the revised video trailer as well on the Legacy of the Tropics page.
Legacy is available on these pages:
My how-to books and eBooks will be both fiction and nonfiction and in varying genres. Peruse the list here as it grows.
I'm hoping my self help books and eBooks will help a lot of writers. So take a peek. Dare to be different in your writing.
I'd love to see more authors of flash fiction and short stories published, so step up to writing and get your stories published. Is it your turn yet? Step up to writing....
