Though my novels The Ka, River Bones and Down to the Needle, were produced through a publishing house in book paper and eBook, my first self-published eBook is a nonfiction: Write it Right - Tips for Authors, Vol. I.

My first novel, The Tropics, went out of print. I have completely rewritten and expanded it. The new version is titled Legacy of the Tropics. Though they won’t show on the cover as with the original version, the three story titles are Promises, Adrift and Reunion.

The first volume of my zany short stories and flash fiction is published, titles Off Center in the Attic - Over the Top Stories.

The two sequels to my award winning thriller, River Bones, will appear first in eBook.

The Howling Cliffs

A Sara Mason Mystery

The Logline: After searching for and finding MIA remains in Vietnam, Sara nearly loses her life when she investigates a missing child case in Hawaii. Someone means to keep the cold case cold.

In River Bones, the original Sara Mason mystery, her love interest, Huxley Keane, searches for his MIA brother in Vietnam. He also searches for Esmerelda's daughter as well as the rest of the abducted medical personnel.

As we follow these two characters, and a couple of others from River Bones, The Howling Cliffs begins deep in the Vietnam jungle. But Sara Mason solves cold cases and finds another one to investigate on the island of Kauai. She has purchased a home in Hawaii for traveling veterans to use as a stop over between the mainland USA and Vietnam. Inadvertently, Sara's neighbor tells her about the cold case of a 6-year-old girl missing for 10 years. Sara's investigation explodes the case wide open and exposes an elusive murderer’s motives, revenge and victims.

You may wish to read about the characters in The Howling Cliffs and what is needed to carry them forward into a new story after River Bones.

You may also wish to read the full Chapter 33, complete with a few notations about some plot points found in exciting thriller writing.
